DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Using SALT Iron Remover on your wheels will effectively dissolve and remove embedded iron particles, brake dust, and other contaminants. Here’s how to use it properly:

1. Prepare your materials: Gather SALT Iron Remover, a hose or pressure washer, a wheel brush, and a microfibre towel.
2. Clean the wheels: Before applying the SALT Iron Remover, ensure that your wheels are cool to the touch and free from loose dirt or debris. You can use a JK Wheel Gel and a wheel brush to clean the surface beforehand if necessary. Rinse the wheels thoroughly and allow them to dry.
3. Apply the SALT Iron Remover: Spray the iron remover directly onto the wheel surface, ensuring complete coverage. Pay special attention to areas where brake dust and iron particles are likely to accumulate, such as the inner barrel and around the lug nuts.
4. Allow dwell time: Allow the iron remover to dwell on the wheel surface for the specified amount of time as indicated on the product instructions. This typically ranges from 1 to 3 minutes, depending on the product and the level of contamination.
5. Agitate if necessary: For stubborn contaminants, you can use a wheel brush to agitate the surface and help loosen the particles. Work the brush in a gentle, circular motion to avoid scratching the wheel surface.
6. Rinse thoroughly: After the dwell time, thoroughly rinse the wheels with a hose or pressure washer to remove the iron remover solution and dissolved contaminants. Ensure that all residue is completely rinsed off.
7. Dry the wheels: Use a clean microfibre towel to dry the wheels thoroughly, ensuring a streak-free finish.
8. Inspect and repeat if necessary: After drying, inspect the wheels to ensure that all contaminants have been removed. If needed, you can repeat the process for stubborn or heavily contaminated areas.

By following these steps, you can effectively use SALT Iron Remover to clean and decontaminate your wheels, leaving them looking clean and refreshed.
