1. Gather your materials: You will need NOYB Glass Cleaner which is specifically formulated for automotive use, clean microfibre towels, and access to water if necessary.
2. Choose the right time: It’s best to clean your car’s windows and mirrors when the car is parked in a shaded area and the glass is cool to the touch. Cleaning in direct sunlight can cause the cleaner to evaporate quickly, leaving streaks behind.
3. Pre-clean: If the windows and mirrors are particularly dirty, you may want to pre-clean them with water or YOLO Shampoo. This is best to remove any loose dirt or grime.
4. Spray the cleaner: Spray NOYB Glass Cleaner directly onto the glass surface in a misting motion, ensuring even coverage. Start from the top and work your way down.
5. Wipe with a microfibre towel: Immediately after spraying the cleaner, use a clean microfibre towel to wipe the glass in a back-and-forth or circular motion. Start from one corner and work your way across the entire surface, overlapping your strokes slightly to ensure thorough coverage.
6. Flip the towel: As you wipe, periodically flip the microfibre towel to a clean, dry side to prevent streaking and ensure a clear finish.
7. Buff to a shine: After wiping the glass with the cleaner, use a separate clean and dry microfibre towel to buff the surface to a streak-free shine. This final buffing step helps to remove any remaining residue and leaves the glass sparkling.
8. Repeat if necessary: For heavily soiled or stubborn spots, you may need to repeat the cleaning process to achieve the desired results. Simply spray the cleaner again and repeat steps until the glass is clean and clear.
